First Day of School in Lakewood is Aug. 22
However, the Rangers athletics fall season begins much sooner in the month.
Summer is coming to end for students in the Lakewood City Schools.
The first day of classes is Aug. 22.
The schools will be closed for Labor Day on Sept. 2; and it’s “early release day” for all students in the district on Sept. 5.
