LAKEWOOD, OH — Lakewood loves beer and many Lakewoodites love the Browns in spite their losing ways. In fact, the Browns have not won a football game since December 24, 2016.
What's better than beer? Free beer! And what's better than free beer? Free beer with a Browns win! Now you might be able to have both at 2 Lakewood locations. Merry Arts 15607 1/2 Detroit Ave. and Game On Lakewood 17103 Detroit Ave. are 2 of the 10 bars selected to have "Victory Fridges" which are stocked full of cold Bud Light and are locked down with a chain and a padlock. When (or if) the Browns win, the padlocks are unlocked and Bud Lights are handed out to thirsty Browns fans for free!
Both Merry Arts and Game On Lakewood are also offering other reasons to come in and watch the game on Sunday. Merry Arts has beer specials and a steak dinner special on Sunday and Game On Lakewood is serving up discounted Brownsy shots, beer specials and $2 hot dogs.
