Friends of the Lakewood Dog Park to Celebrate World Animal Day
Bring your pup to Lakewood Dog Park for World Animal Day festivities, including a pet blessing, on Saturday, September 30th from 12 to 3 PM.
Celebrate World Animal Day with Friends of the Lakewood Dog Park on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 12 to 3 PM. Deacon Tom Long will offer a pet blessing at 1 PM.
Friends of the Lakewood Dog Park (FLDP) will have toys and treats available for your very good dog and logo apparel for you. Still not a member of FDLP? Receive a free gift when you join during the current membership drive.
Inn the Doghouse and FLDP are holding a pet food drive to benefit My Best Friend's Bowl, a non-profit pet food bank. Please bring your donation of dog or cat food to Inn the Doghouse, Monday-Friday, 7 AM – 7 PM. The doggy spa, daycare and boarding space is located on the southwest corner of West 117th St. and Franklin Blvd. We will also be accepting donations at the park on September 30th from 12 - 3 PM.

World Animal Day began in 1931 as a way to highlight the plight of endangered species. It has since become a day to celebrate animal life in all its forms and humankind's relationship with the animal kingdom.
