Get Dogs Neutered, Spayed For Free In Lakewood
The city is working with two organizations to provide free pet surgeries for low-income dog owners.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Dogs in Lakewood can be spayed and neutered for free through a new program. The city is partnering with two organizations to offer the free surgeries to low-income residents.
On October 25, PetFix Northeast Ohio will offer free transportation to their clinic in Euclid. Dogs and their owners will need to gather at Foster Pool at 7:30 a.m. The pets will be returned to their owners at 3:30 p.m. Space in the transport (a van) is limited, a PetFix representative told Patch.
However, if residents have their own transportation and would like to make the trip to Euclid, they can make an appointed at the PetFix clinic. Callers should dial-in after 9 a.m. The clinic closes at 4 p.m., an employee said.
