Halloween 2018: Trick-Or-Treat Time For Lakewood

Get those costumes ready...Halloween will be here in no time.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Halloween will be observed on Wednesday, October 31 in Lakewood. The city announced that official trick-or-treating hours are October 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The city offered three safety tips for parents and trick-or-treaters as they prepare for the spookiest day of the year. First, anyone driving through the city on October 31, particularly in the evening, will want to be extra vigilant and move a little slower than usual.

Parents should make sure trick-or-treaters are especially careful after sunset. Costumed kids can be harder to see in the twilight. Parents escorting their children will want to carry a flashlight, as a safeguard.
