Hanukkah Celebration Coming To Lakewood Dec. 8

An evening of wine, cheese and candle lighting awaits attendees.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The Jewish Lakewood Alliance is organizing a Hanukkah celebration on December 8. Admission to the event is $5.

The event is being thrown in collaboration with Israel Bonds and will start at 5 p.m. at Art on Madison. The evening will feature a wine and cheese reception, the lighting of the Havdalah candle and Hanukkah candles. There will then be a presentation from Israel Bonds and a celebration of Hanukkah.

Admission is not tax deductible, according to Tim Collingwood of the Jewish Lakewood Alliance. RSVP's are requested and should be made through this link.

Art on Madison is at 14203 Madison Avenue, near the Lakewood High stadium and Addicted Coffee House.

  • Wine and cheese reception — 5 p.m.
  • Lighting of the Havdalah candle — 6:15 p.m.
  • Lighting of the Hanukkah candles — 6:30 p.m.
  • Presentation from Israel Bonds — After the candle lightings
  • Hanukkah celebration — 7 p.m.
