I-90 On-Ramp Closing Briefly Monday In Rocky River

Drivers will need to find a different on-ramp to I-90 for a stretch on Monday.

ROCKY RIVER, OH — Tree trimming will shutter an I-90 on ramp on SR 254 in Rocky River on Monday, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced. A detour will be put in place for drivers inconvenienced by the closure.

The shuttering begins at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 18. The ramp from SR 254 to I-90 west will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews will trimming trees during this period.

A detour will take drivers from SR 254 west to SR 252 (also known as Columbia Road) north to I-90 west.

Current forecasts predict a chilly, but clear Monday for Northeast Ohioans. Drivers should see only a minor inconvenience due to the tree trimming. However, there is a chance of light snow showers in the evening, after the on-ramp re-opens.
