It's Fish Fry Season! A Lakewood Guide To The Best Fish Fries
Tis the season for breaded fish and ditching red meat.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Every year, Catholics ditch red meat during the Lenten season. To keep their meat intake high, churches and other groups host fish fries for the temporary pescatarians.
To help those abandoning the steak dinners (or those who just enjoy a good fish fry), Patch is compiling a list of local fish fries. The list will be updated as other restaurants announce events. If you know of a fish fry that isn't on our list, feel free to reach out to Ohio Editor Chris Mosby.

- Lakewood Masonic Building, 15300 Detroit Rd. - Every Friday from Feb. 16 to March 30; 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- El Carnicero, 16918 Detroit Ave. — February 16 - March 23rd; 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
