Lakewood Announces Performers For 2019 Summer Park Concerts

LAKEWOOD, OH — Lakewood announced the performers for the annual Summer Park Concert Series this week. The first show will be held June 23.

The free concerts will all be held at the Lakewood Park Bandstand in Lakewood Park. All shows will begin at 7 p.m. on Sundays. The lone exception to the Sunday concert schedule is the Independence Day concert which will be held on Thursday, July 4.

If there is rai, the Lakewood Hometown Band concert on August 11 will be held in the Lakewood City Hall Auditorium, 12650 Detroit Avenue, instead.

Here are the bands scheduled to play this year's Summer Park Concert Series.

• June 23: Ki Allen, Lady Jazz
• Thursday, July 4: The Lakewood Project, Lakewood High School’s Youth Rock Orchestra
• July 7: The George Martins
• July 14: FireSide Band
• July 21: Tower City Barbershop Chorus
• July 28: Ernie Krivda & The Fat Tuesday Big Band
• Aug. 4: Carlos Jones and the PLUS Band
• Aug. 11: Lakewood Hometown Band
