Lakewood Dog Park Closing For Maintenance

LAKEWOOD, OH — The Lakewood Dog Park will be closed temporarily for three days in September, the city announced. Crews will be doing maintenance at the park, prompting the closure.

The park will be closed until 4 p.m. on September 6 and September 13. On September 9, the park will be closed all day.

Joe Beno, the director of public works in Lakewood, said crews will primarily be working on three projects: tree trimming, fence replacement and filling ruts in the slope behind the park's fence. Closing the park will allow crews to quickly do their work.
