Lakewood High Nominated For Cleveland Browns Game Of The Week
If Lakewood is selected, and wins the game, the football program could receive $3,000.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Lakewood High's upcoming football game against Padua Franciscan has been nominated for Cleveland Browns High School Football Game of the Week.
The Lakewood Rangers are 0-1 after losing a tight 35-28 contest against Brush in Week 1. The Rangers will continue their season with another game at home on Friday.
Padua, Lakewood's upcoming opponent, won its first game of the season by decimating Bedford, notching a 31-7 victory.

If Lakewood versus Padua is selected for game of the week, the Browns will cover the game on their website and social media and the winning team will receive $3,000 for its football program. Fans can vote for their school to be selected online.
The winning coach and game MVP will receive a custom Coach of the Week game ball and a Browns varsity letter for the MVP. At the end of the season, the Browns will announced High School Coach of the Year and the winner will receive $6,000 for the football program.
