Lakewood High Runners Set School Records At State Championship
The school's nine runners set three school records and several personal records during the meet.
LAKEWOOD, OH — Lakewood High's indoor track team set several school records during the OATCC Indoor Track & Field State Championship Meet on Saturday.
"Congratulations to all the girls who competed and to coaches Stephanie Toole and Adam Swiat!" the district said in a message to the team.

Seniors Alicia Smith and Ebony Bradford, sophomore Aniya Symons and freshman McKenna Hunt set a new school record in the 4 x 200, completing the race in 1:51.91.
In the 4 x 400, Hunt, Bradford, sophomore Helen Roche and senior Abby Sacha set a new school record, completing the race in 4:15.19.

Roche and Sacha were joined by sophomores Mallory Zavatchen and Sadie Gregg in the 4 x 800. They finished the race with the second fastest time in indoor history, 10:24.07.
Finally, Smith broke another school record in the 60 meter hurdles, finishing her run in 10.2 seconds.
