The Lakewood Schools are again recipients of a 2021 Best Communities for Music Education Award.
LAKEWOOD, OH — The Lakewood City Schools have been named recipients of a 2021 Best Communities for Music Education Award.
Lakewood is one of only 686 school districts nationwide to receive the designation this year. The award honors districts for their commitment to music education and providing access to music for all students.
"We are thrilled to continue to receive this honor each year. It is a reflection of the dedication and talent of our music teachers as well as the passionate support of our Music Boosters and the Lakewood community, which has always highly valued the arts and our music program," said Superintendent Michael Barnes.
