Lakewood Woman Killed In Traffic Accident
A 71-year-old Lakewood resident was killed in a car crash in Lakewood over the weekend.
LAKEWOOD, OH — A 71-year-old Lakewood resident was killed in a car accident in Lakewood over the weekend, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office announced Monday.
Cheryl Lauersdor, 71, from Lakewood, was involved in a car accident near Clarence Avenue and Franklin Boulevard on Friday. She was taken from the accident to Fairview Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
On Friday night, with midnight quickly approaching, a two-car crash ended with one vehicle in the front yard of a Lakewood home, Fox 8 reported. The driver of one of the cars had to be cut out of their vehicle by Lakewood firefighters.
