Lakewood's Snow Parking Ban Rules
Four inches of snow means the ban automatically goes into effect. So watch where you park your car.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The city's snow parking ban automatically kicks into effect after four inches of snow, or more, fall within a 24-hour period. After a significant snowstorm hammered Northeast Ohio, and with more snow possible throughout the weekend, now is a good time to review Lakewood's snow parking ban rules.
Streets throughout the city will be marked as snow parking ban streets. Those streets cannot be parked on during a ban. The streets that may not be used for parking are:
- Athens Avenue (Carabel to Lincoln)
- Belle Avenue (Madison to Lake)
- Berea Road (Horseshoe Bridge to W. 117th)
- Bunts Road (Lakewood Heights Boulevard to Clifton Boulevard)
- Clifton Boulevard (Webb to W. 117th)
- Delaware Avenue (McKinely to Brown)
- Detroit Avenue (Gridley to W. 117th)
- Lake Avenue (Webb to W. 117th)
- Lakewood Heights Boulevard (Woodward to Horseshoe Bridge)
- Madison Avenue (Riverside to W. 117th)
- Riverside Drive (Sloane to Fischer)
- W. 117th Street (Berea to Edgewater)
- Warren Road (Lakewood Heights Boulevard to Clifton Boulevard)
- West Clifton (between Riverside and Clifton)
To aid residents that might be impacted by the loss of parking on a particular street, the city opens up its municipal lots to free parking. A map of the metered spots that can be used free-of-charge is below.
