At Least 39 People Without Power In Lakewood

A cluster of homes near the intersection of Madison Avenue and Hilliard Road are currently without power.

LAKEWOOD, OH — At least 39 people are currently without power in Lakewood, according to FirstEnergy.

The outage appears to be concentrated near the intersection of Madison Avenue and Hilliard Road, on the southwest end of Lakewood. It is not yet clear what has caused the power outage.

FirstEnergy is estimating that power will be restored by 10:30 a.m., but crews have yet to arrive on the scene. The team from FirstEnergy will need to investigate why power is down in the area.

Freezing rain and blowing snow have made the morning commute hazardous for drivers. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory that will be in place until 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
