Man Found Sleeping on Top of Woman’s Garage

Disturbance: A woman in the 1500 block of Woodward Avenue told police that a man was sleeping in a purple sleeping bag on the roof of her garage on Sept. 5. The man was charged with criminal trespassing, drug abuse and possession of marijuana.

Theft: A woman in the 12500 block of Edgewater Drive told police that someone took $400 out of her purse on Sept. 5.

Burglary: A burglar entered a home in the 2000 block of Halstead Avenue, through an open window, and stole a laptop computer and a video game system on Sept. 5.

Another burglary: A home in the 1400 block of Grace Avenue was reported broken into, with several items — including a TV and computer — reported stolen on Sept. 5.

Trucks vandalized: Two trucks, parked in the 1200 block of Webb Road, were “keyed” on Sept. 7.
