Maryruth Dorr Butler, Mother of Four, Dies at 94

Lakewood resident Maryruth Dorr Butler, a mother of four, died Nov. 10. 

She was 94.

The beloved wife of the late John J. Butler, she was the loving mother of Mary Ellen Cahill (Edward), Carmel, Indiana; Margaret Ziegler (Paul), Bay Village; John J. (deceased); and Anne Collins, Dallas, Texas. Dear "Saa" to Ben and Jay Cahill, Penn and Seth Collins, and Kate Ziegler. Great grandmother to Mallory, Henry, and Charlie. Dear sister of Joan McGovern (Joseph) Buffalo, N.Y., Fr. James F. Dorr, C.M., New York and the late Thomas Dorr and Dorothy Kelly.

The calling hours are set from 1 to 2 p.m. Dec. 1 at St. Bernadette Church, 2256 Clague Road, in Westlake. The funeral mass will follow at 2 p.m.
