Lakewood resident Nelson Parks Jr. — a 30-year employee of General Motors — died Oct. 25.
He was 69 years old.
Parkls was the beloved father of Nelson J. Parks III, Jason E. Parks (Brenda) and Julie E. Parks; loving grandpa of 11 and great-grandpa of 2; brother of Jean Wanicki (David) and Nelson L. Parks (deceased) (Dorothy); dear uncle and great-uncle.

A 30-year GM retiree, Parks was recent Chairman of the Saharid AA Club.
Calling hours are set to take place at the McGorray-Hanna Funeral Home from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 28.
