Part Of SR 2 Closing Overnight Tuesday—Thursday
All lanes of SR 2/Main Avenue Bridge westbound between First Energy Stadium and West 28th Street will be closed from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
CLEVELAND, OH — Part of State Route 2 will be closed overnight on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced.
Crews will be installing portable concrete barrier walls on SR 2 west, between First Energy Stadium and W. 28th, starting at about 8 p.m. and continuing until midnight. From midnight on, crews will close all lanes of SR 2 east to install portable concrete barrier walls there.
Traffic going west will be detoured along W. 3rd Street to Superior Avenue to W. 25th Street to SR 2 west. Traffic going east will be detoured to W. 25th Street to Detroit-Superior to W. 3rd Street to SR 2 east.

On Wednesday and Thursday, crews will close all lanes on SR 2 east between W. 28 and First Energy Stadium from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. to install a portable concrete barrier wall. The project is focused on painting and miscellaneous repairs on Main Avenue.
