"Peter Rabbit" To Be Shown For Free In Lakewood

The family-friendly movie will be the latest installment in the city's "Friday Night Flicks" series.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The family-friendly "Peter Rabbit" movie will be shown on Friday, July 27, at the Lakewood Park Bandstand. The movie will start at 9 p.m.

The movie is free and open to residents. Attendees should bring blankets or lawn chairs to hang out on while watching the film.

This is the fourth of Lakewood's Friday Night Flicks screenings. The final movie in the series will be "Paddington 2" which will be shown on August 10 at Madison Park.

The first movie screened was the "Emoji Movie" on June 15. On June 29, Despicable Me 3 was shown. The Nut Job 2 was screened July 13, and Peter Rabbit is slated for July 27.

All of the screenings are weather-dependent. If things get stormy, a film showing could be cancelled. The city said it hopes that it would be able to reschedule any cancelled Friday Night Flicks.
