Relive The Light Up Lakewood 2018 Festivities
A little rain (and a little snow) couldn't stop the merriment from rolling on.
LAKEWOOD, OH — For the 12th straight year, the Light Up Lakewood festivities served as an official kick-off to the holiday season. Despite a smattering of rain and snow, live music, hot chocolate, and an appearance by Santa himself sent the merriment into high-gear.
The day-long holiday party started at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, when lunch with Santa was held at Dewey's Pizza. The popular holiday parade stepped off at 5 p.m., the lighting ceremony was held at 6:30 p.m., and a fireworks display was done at 7 p.m.
For at least one day, Lakewood was one of the most spirited and merry places in all of Ohio. Relive all of those moments with photos from Patch photographer Rick Uldricks, and through social media posts!
