Senator Sherrod Brown Coming To Bookshop In Lakewood
As part of his book tour, for "Desk 88," Brown is doing signings across Northeast Ohio. He'll visit Lakewood in December.
LAKEWOOD, OH — U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown will visit the Bookshop in Lakewood on December 16. The longtime Ohio politician will be signing copies of his new book "Desk 88."
Brown will be at the Bookshop on Monday, Dec. 16. The signing will take place between 10 a.m. and noon. Optional advance tickets may be purchased online, with a copy of "Desk 88" included in the ticket price.
Attendees can also purchase copies of the book at the store, or bring their own copy for the senator to sign. The Bookshop in Lakewood is located at 15230 Madison Ave.

"Desk 88" tells the story of a simple, mahogany desk which Brown has sat behind since his election to the Senate in 2006. The book details the eight senators who used that desk before Brown: Hugo Black, Robert F. Kennedy, Glen Taylor, George McGovern, Herbert Lehman, Al Gore Senior, Theodore Francis Green and William Proxmire.
