Shoreway Construction Continues Until Late July In Cleveland
Crews will be working on the road Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m., ODOT said.

CLEVELAND, OH — Construction on State Route 2 continues to hamper Lakewood drivers moving in and out of downtown Cleveland. Work is now being taking place in the center lane of the three-lane section on the bridge, the Ohio Department of Transportation said in an email.
The left inside lane will remain open at all times during this phase of construction. Work will take place Monday through Saturday, until at least late-July.
Crews will be active from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day of work. During that time, ODOT said the following closures will be implemented:

- Right (outside) lane westbound between W. 3rd St. and W. 28th St.
- Lakeside entrance ramp to SR 2 west. Detour via W. 9th St. to Detroit-Superior Ave. to W. 25th St. to SR 2 west
- The SR 2 west exit ramp to W. 28th Street will only be accessible from the left lane, ODOT said.
