St. Edward Football Steamrolls 1st Round Playoff Opponent
The Eagles victory on Friday secures a second-round matchup with Medina.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The St. Edward Eagles dominated the first round of the OHSAA football playoffs and secured a second-round matchup with Medina.
St. Ed's will be the home team in their second-round game, though the site of the game has not yet been determined. Kick-off will be at 7 p.m.
In round one, St. Ed's played GlenOak at Brooklyn Memorial Stadium. The No. 1 seeded Eagles steamrolled the competition, winning 42-0. The offense had six touchdowns on the ground and the defense has allowed only two touchdowns in the past 17 quarters of game action.

Medina is the No. 8 seed in the region and defeated Strongsville to advance to the second round of the OHSAA Division I playoffs.
