Starry Night Event Raises $130,000 for Diabetes Initiative

The evening was topped off with a silent auction featuring works of art from several local physicians and stroke patients.

One of the West Side’s grandest parties in the street, Starry Night boasted nearly 600 guests and raised more than $130,000.

The net proceeds directly benefit patients through the Lakewood Hospital Diabetes and Endocrine Center’s Diabetes Assistance Initiative and community education efforts, according to a news release.

“Guests attending this year’s Starry Night festivities enjoyed a diverse and globally inspired culinary adventure featuring an assortment of flavorful dishes that reflected good health, wellness and fun,” according to the release.
