Tess Neff Has The Qualities Lakewood Needs

I have lived in Lakewood my entire adult life after moving across the river from the eastside. Shortly after that move I met my husband who grew up in Lakewood. When the time came to make a decision on where to set our roots and start a family, we couldn’t pass up the thought of living Lakewood. Lakewood had so many wonderful things to offer a young couple then and continues to today. 23 years later…it was the best decision we could have ever made.

We made an offer on a beautiful home on what we think is the best street with really amazing neighbors, types of things we have never taken for granted. Tess Neff is one of our amazing neighbors. Tess embodies everything we love about our neighborhood and about Lakewood from compassion, kindness and integrity to an incredible work ethic and the ability to problem solve with others. Her long public service career, which includes experience as a judicial magistrate and court administrator makes her undeniably qualified to be a council person. Moreover, it is her upbeat nature and ability to help people come to consensus that gives Lakewood voters the opportunity to truly allow our city to continue to be and become an even greater place to live. I know Tess very well as our children grew up together and continue their friendships as they begin to enter adulthood. There is not a better candidate for council and for Lakewood.

Five children later, we still live in the same beautiful home on the same terrific street with countless neighbors who now have become life-long friends, not only for the parents but for all the kids as well. The future of Lakewood goes beyond my husband and I. Lakewood is our children’s future too. We all need Lakewood to continue to be the BEST decision ever made. A vote for Tess Neff on November 5 will be a vote for Lakewood’s future.
