Thanksgiving: Marc's, Whole Foods, Giant Eagle Hours In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, OH — On Thanksgiving day, there's a lot that can go wrong. Maybe you forgot that your nephew is a vegetarian and need to find a tofurkey FAST; maybe you didn't buy enough pecans to cover the whole pie. Or maybe you just need an extra bottle of wine because Uncle Pete and Aunt Ginny are arguing about politics again.

There are a number of local grocery stores that will remain open on Thanksgiving Day for all your emergency needs - but there are some notable ones that will be closed. Additionally, the hours for the stores that will remain open will be truncated.

Here are the hours for the bigger ones around Lakewood:

• Giant Eagle — 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Marc's — Closed
• Aldi's — Closed
• Heinen's (Rocky River) — Closed
• Whole Foods (Rocky River) — 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sappell's — 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All of the above listed grocery stores will have mostly normal hours on both Wednesday and Friday. However, there will not be a wine tasting at Whole Foods on Friday and the store will close at 9 p.m.
