The Worst Things About Kids Going Back To School Are...

We all know kids dread the end of summer freedom, pool days and weeknight sleepovers. 

But, apparently, parents dread the first day of school, too.

We asked Lakewood Patch's Facebook fans about the big day and the biggest complaint was traffic.

Christopher Shestina Going 20 mph in school zones......school zones should not be in front of high schools....if your 15 years old and u can't control yourself around traffic u deserve to be hit by a car
Jen Pearce Getting caught at the light when the high school periods are switching and waiting for the entire high School to cross the street to go to the "temporary" trailers.
Jedd Sadie Jessie High School kids walking in the street. Drivers not driving 20mph through the school zone. Parents not using the crossing guard when crossing their kids. And jaywalking across the street. High school kids walking out in the street against the light not watching the walk sign.

But there were a few other topics, too:

Alexandra Koeberer-Larson Should be AFTER Labor Day.
Lesley Brown Rogers Increased litter on the sidewalks.
Michele Marotta Buying 3x every school supply, backpack, and clothes.

Of course, not everyone agrees.
