Use Caution Near Detroit, Belle Avenues In Lakewood, Construction
Large construction equipment will be trucked toward the Center North apartment structure in the city's downtown area.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Drivers and pedestrians in Lakewood may notice large construction equipment moving through the area of Bell and Detroit avenues over the next two days. Crews will be working on the Lakewood Center North Building and could cause traffic delays, the city warns.
Construction equipment will be moving through the area on Tuesday, October 30 and Wednesday, October 31 (Halloween). Both streets will remain open, but delays are possible.
The overhaul of Center North began in April 2017. City officials believe the resulting structure will be the largest mixed-use building in Lakewood. It's certainly the largest project to break ground in the downtown area.
