Value World Opens on Detroit Avenue

After some back-and-forth with the city, the new Value World recently opened its doors on Detroit Avenue.

The second-hand store — with locations in three states — replaces the Discount Drug Mart, which opened a new location a couple blocks west.

Value World's Cleveland location, near W. 107th Street and Lorain Avenue, was expected to close its doors.

After some discussion with the city’s architectural board of review — particularly about the size of the sign — Value World's revised plans for minor exterior renovations were approved.
