Virtual Holiday Play Being Produced By Beck Center

The production will be watchable on most devices, making it safe for the COVID-19 era.

LAKEWOOD, OH — This December, the Beck Center for the Arts will host a Youth Theater production of "A Christmas Peril."

The show will open Dec. 10 and run through Dec. 13. The live production is appropriate for audiences of all ages.

"A Christmas Peril" will feature 25 Beck Center Youth Theater performers and drops them into a whirlwind of a play. The show's playwright and director, Rachel Spence, said the young actors are "having a blast with the comedy."

Spence said the virtual circumstances created by COVID-19 proved "laughing at yourself, and a positive attitude go a long way."

The show will premiere with a student matinee on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 11 and Dec. 12, and 3 p.m. on Dec. 13. The show can be seen on most devices within the comfort of a home.

Tickets are $12 for one viewer, $22 for two or more viewers and $35 for arts lovers who want to support Youth Theater.
