W. 117th Closed At Railroad Tracks In Lakewood
The city expects the area to be closed to traffic through Friday. Drivers will want to find an alternate route.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Norfolk Southern crews have started work on the W. 117th Street railroad crossing. The road is effectively closed, in both directions, at the railroad tracks, the city said.
The closure will continue Tuesday through Friday, September 28. Drivers are being asked to use Hird Avenue as a detour. If drivers have an alternate way around the area, they may want to make use of it this week.
"We apologize for the inconvenience and late notice as we were just made aware of the closure," the city said in a social media post.
