What’s Open, Closed On Easter 2021 In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, OH — Easter 2021 marks our second amid the coronavirus pandemic, which means many people in Lakewood and throughout our state will one again opt to forgo the traditional Easter celebrations for smaller, more socially distanced festivities.

Another pandemic Easter calls for a low-key day with close family. Whether you’re skipping the big meal, heading to a movie, or crossing items off your spring to-do list, it’s helpful to know which libraries, restaurants, and stores are open before you head out.

Here’s a look at what’s open and closed in Lakewood this Easter:

There will be no trash collection on Monday. Residents who normally have refuse picked-up on Monday, should instead put their trash out on Tuesday.

Lakewood City Hall will be closed Friday, in observance of the holiday. A city official said "most city departments will be closed" for the holiday.

Lakewood Public Library will be open both Friday and Monday, but will be closed on Easter Sunday.
