Business Owner, Fire Lieutenant On Sweltering Heat & Snapped Power Line
A business owner and fire lieutenant talk about the snapped power line that burned a whole in a Mentor parking lot.
In this video, Angelo La Spina, who owns Angelo's Tailoring on Reynolds Road, talks about a snapped power line and subsequent flames that burned a hole in the parking lot on Wednesday July 17.
Mentor Fire Lt. Mike Smith briefly discusses the heat that led to the snapped line, and we also see a glimpse of the darkened Hooley House, one of a few businesses in the area waiting for the return of electricity.
Hooley, Chipotle, DiBella's and T.G.I. Fridays were among the businesses that lost power and got it back later in the afternoon.
