Cavaliers cruise to a 116-97 win over the Bucks Friday night

Cavaliers, Bucks, Lebron James, Kyle Korver, Kevin Love, Derrick Rose, Jae Crowder, Giannis Antetopounmpo, Malcolm Brogdon

Following on from Tuesday's season opening win against the Boston Celtics in Cleveland, the Cavs beat the Bucks with relative ease with Lebron James leading the Cavs with 24 points and eight assists, while three-point specialist Kyle Korver chimed in with 17 off the bench, including three straight from downtown in a decisive third-quarter run to help the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 116-97 Friday night in Milwaukee.

Kevin Love added 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Cavs. The Cavs led 55-49 at halftime but their 15-5 spurt over the final 4:25 of the third quarter, sparked by Korver’s long-range shooting, opened a 13-point lead. Cleveland led by double digits most of the rest of the way, and pulled away in the third quarter to spoil the Bucks’ home opener.

Derrick Rose finished with 12 points but left the game early in the fourth quarter with a sprained left ankle and did not return. Jae Crowder chipped in 14 points and was one of six Cavaliers in double figures Friday. The Cavs' bench also dominated the Bucks' bench by outscoring them, 55-23.
