Cavaliers dominant again, win 125-103 to take 2-0 lead in series

Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raptors, Lebron James, Kyrie Irving

Lebron James scored 39 points and Kyrie Irving gets a double-double as the Cleveland Cavaliers were dominant again and win 125-103 to take a 2-0 lead in the NBA Eastern Conference semifinals at the Q on Wednesday night.

The 125 points scored on Wednesday in Game 2 are their most in a playoff game in franchise history. They shot 55 percent from the field, 55 percent from 3, and generally looked untroubled for most of the night.

James is unstoppable right now. He destroyed Toronto with 39 points, six boards, and four assists on 10-of-14 shooting in 35 minutes. He was also 15-of-21 from the foul line and 4-of-6 from 3-point range.

During the third quarter, Lebron James once again made history by passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for second all-time in postseason scoring. He now stands 210 points behind the all-time leader, Michael Jordan, who finished his career with 5,987 points.

Kyrie Irving had 22 points and 11 assists and Channing Frye came off the bench and scored 18 points for the defending champs, who are now 6-0 so far in defending their title.

Toronto only got five points from All-Star DeMar DeRozan, who didnt make hos first field goal until the first minute of the fourth quarter. Of bigger concern, might be the status of Kyle Lowry. Lowry scored 20 points but spent the fourth quarter in the locker room icing his ankle.

"They're the defending champs and they look like it right now"-Lowry on Cavs.

COMING UP FOR THE CAVS: The game now shifts to Toronto for Friday night's Game 3 at Air Canada Centre. Tipoff will be just after 7 p.m ET. Last year, the Cavaliers played the Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals and led 2-0 before heading to Toronto, but lost both games there before winning in six games.
