City of Mentor Issues Traffic Advisory for Multiple Streets on Thursday Morning
The transport of a large transformer is expected to bring major traffic delays in Mentor on Thursday morning starting at 9 a.m.
MENTOR, Ohio: The City of Mentor has issued a traffic advisory for local drivers. According to the memo, drivers should avoid the areas of Carpenter Street to Rt. 615 South and Rt. 84 East for several hours on Thursday morning, March 17.
The memo said that crews will be moving a large electrical transformer along the route, which affects several major area roadways during rush hour. The transport process will begin at 9 a.m. and will be very slow, taking several hours to complete.
The City advises motorists in the area to arrange an alternate route if their commute covers any of the affected areas, as major traffic delays are expected.
