“We’re so proud to give the Advocacy Award to Brian in response to all the hard work he has done in support of the seniors of Lake County and beyond,” said Bernardine Brooks, who is on the board of C3A. “His efforts, along with his compassion, serve as a model for many others who interact with our senior population day-to-day.”
Rice is a Certified Senior Advisor and chairs the Community Resource & Advocacy Committee for the Association of Specialists in Aging (ASA), which planned Lake County’s first annual World Elder Abuse Awareness Day in June 2015.
