Gallery One announces “Cold Nose – Warm Art™” Winners!
Young artists and their families packed Gallery One for the 6th Annual "Cold Nose – Warm Art™" kids' art exhibit and awards presentation.

MENTOR, OH – Aspiring young artists and their families packed Gallery One on Saturday for the 6th Annual “Cold Nose – Warm Art™” kids’ art exhibit and awards presentation. More than 160 Northeast Ohio kids, aged 4 – 18 including Adaptive Arts students, submitted an array of original paintings, sculptures, 3-D textile creations and drawings. Their artwork portrays a selection of adoptable pets from Lake Humane Society and Marilyn's Voice, a nonprofit all-volunteer animal rescue organization. The purpose of the annual competition is to encourage and reward children’s artistic expression and to promote adoption awareness for animals in need. Gallery One will display all Cold Nose – Warm Art™ creations alongside the work of established artists in their free exhibit that is open to the public until January 5, 2018.
All participating artists in attendance last Saturday received the Master Artist Merit Award Ribbon and a certificate to frame their masterpieces. Individual winners in each category were called forward to receive a special keepsake medallion for their excellent artwork from WKYC-Channel 3 Meteorologist Michael Estime. They are:
