Julius Randle and Isaiah Thomas lead Lakers past Cavs 127-113

Julius Randle feasted on Cleveland's depleted front court on his way to a monster night and Isaiah Thomas got some revenge as they lead the Los Angeles Lakers past the Cleveland Cavaliers , 127-113 on Sunday night at the Staples Center.
Lebron James had 24 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists for the Cavaliers, who have lost four of six after getting swept at Staples Center by the Clippers and Lakers. Starting center Larry Nance Jr. had 24 points and eight rebounds, and Jordan Clarkson really struggled, shooting 1-of-8 for four points in their first game against the Lakers since they were traded.
Jose Calderon scored 14 off the bench for Cleveland, and rookie center Ante Zizic finished with a career high 15 points and seven rebounds. Kyle Korver added 12 points on four three-pointers.

Cleveland dressed only 11 players with several long-term injuries.They were already going to be without Kevin Love (broken bone in left hand) and Tristan Thompson (sprained right ankle) this weekend. Then, Rodney Hood (lower back strain) and Cedi Osman (left hip flexor strain) went down Friday. Hood will be the first among Cleveland's wounded foursome to return.That's four wings and bigs -- all rotation players -- who were unavailable to help in the paint.
Randle ate the Cavs up and finished with a career-high 36 points along with 14 boards, seven assists and two blocks.Thomas destroyed his old team with 20 points, nine assists and five rebounds off the bench. Brook Lopez finished with 22 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks.

Los Angeles, who out-rebounded the Cavs 51-37, put this one away in the third quarter, scoring 33 points overall and outpacing the Cavs 22-6 after the game was tied at 76 with 4:57 to go. Cleveland shot 8-of-21 in the period and coughed up five turnovers, falling behind by as many as 19. The Lakers held a 98-82 lead heading into the fourth quarter and never looked back.
The Lakers, snapped a seven-game losing streak against Cleveland, led for nearly the entire game. Cleveland's only lead was by one point in the first quarter.
The defeat dropped the Cavs into fourth place in the Eastern Conference, one-half game behind the Indiana Pacers, who defeated the Boston Celtics earlier in the day.
