Lake Effect Snow Advisory in Place for Lake County

Three to six inches of snow are expected to fall between tonight and early Saturday morning.

LAKE COUNTY, OH - Harsh winter weather is on the way for residents of Lake County, according to the National Weather Service. Three to six inches of snow are expected to fall between tonight and 4 a.m. Saturday morning.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is asking drivers in the area to be aware of sudden snow squalls. The weather will cause low visibility and could disrupt morning commutes.

Much of Northeast Ohio will be able to dodge the winter conditions. The Cleveland area is expecting to get hit tonight with between one and three inches of snow. However, the rest of Friday and Saturday should see the snow taper off, with accumulations of less than an inch.
