Man On LSD Runs Down Freeway, Gets Bad Trip to Mentor Police Station

Ryan Swoope said that he took LSD and was on the freeway "to be with officers."

Last Friday, Ryan Swoope of Painesville, thought that taking acid and running on freeway seemed like a good idea for some reason. Mentor police didn't think so.

Fox8.com reports that Swoope was running on state Route 2 near Hendricks Road around 11:15 p.m. and when Mentor police confronted him, he swore at them and made obscene gestures. Fortunately, the police arrived before he could take off his clothes.

Swoope, 22, managed to force traffic to stop by running across three lanes and only responded to Mentor police after they threatened to taze him (a real buzz-kill).
