Mentor-on-the-Lake Crash Leaves Man in Critical Condition
Police are investigating a weekend crash that left a pedestrian in critical condition.
MENTOR-ON-THE-LAKE, OH — Police are investigating a crash that sent a Mentor-on-the-Lake pedestrian to the hospital.
At around 8:42 Saturday night a pedestrian was struck crossing the road between Primrose Drive and Dahlia Drive, according to a post on the Mentor-on-the-Lake Police Department's Facebook page. The man, 25, was taken to Lake West Medical Center and then transferred to Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, according to police.
As of Sunday, the man was listed in critical condition. The driver was not injured during the crash.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and ask anyone with information to call Sgt. Scott Daubenmire or Lt. John Forsythe at (440) 257-7234.
The identity of the victim is unknown at this time.
