Mentor Library Featuring Local Bands Through July

The Mentor Public Library will feature homegrown talent in its series Rock Roots this month.

The three-part series kicked off July 11 with Altered Generation at the Read House. July 19 the Brendan Burt Band, a cover band performing classic rock and alternative music, will play at 6:30 p.m., also at the Read House, and the series concludes July 31 with a performance by rock band Hedgehog's Dillemma and jangly power pop band Cheap Clone.
