
The Lake County Narcotics Agency arrested a Mentor man on Wednesday for having of ecstasy in his apartment and equipment used to produce the drug.
According to a report from our partners at Newsnet5.com, officers had been investigating 22-year-old Anthony E. Roncalli for manufacturing drugs. They searched his unit at the Fairfax Manor Apartment Complex on Mentor Avenue and found 40 grams of ecstasy, a commercial pill press, chemicals, an assault rifle and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
Roncalli was charged with aggravated possession of drugs and tampering with evidence. Court records show he entered a not guilty plea in Mentor Municipal Court on Friday.
Roncalli posted his bond of 10 percent of $5,000 and has a pretrial hearing scheduled for July 24.
