Mentor Vehicle Drops Mystery Debris at Busy Intersection
The debris caused a minor three car accident and has not been able to be identified by authorities.

A police investigation is on-going after a vehicle dumped an unidentified substance at the intersection of State Route 306 and Tyler Boulevard Wednesday.
The fire department determined that the waste was not hazardous, however the particular substance was not identifiable according to police. Lieutenant Dan Molnar described it as a “concrete-like” substance.
A handful of cars got some of the mystery debris stuck to their car, which Molnar said was hard to wash off. The dumping also caused a stop in traffic, leading to a minor three car accident. Despite this, Molnar believes the dumper’s charges would not be criminal if found.

“Charges could be unsecured load, dropping load on roadway,” Molnar said. “You’re looking at traffic offenses.”
The driver is still unidentified, however police said one witness identified it as a truck. Molnar said they are looking into a couple ways of identifying the dumper.
