Mentor's Tree Lighting To Include Santa, Caroling, Iceskating
The City of Mentor will host its annual Tree Light ceremony as well as a free family iceskating event Tuesday, Dec. 5.

MENTOR, OH -- The City of Mentor announced that its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place Tuesday, Dec. 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Mentor Municipal Center. Following the tree lighting ceremony, residents are invited to the Mentor Civic Ice Arena for a free family skate event from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Community members and guests are invited to join the ceremony as the town lights its 27-foot Norwegian Spruce at City Hall campus. Santa will arrive in a horse-drawn carriage, and there will be photo opportunities and caroling from the choirs of Mentor Public Schools as well. Free Family Skate
Following the tree lighting ceremony, residents are invited to the Mentor Civic Ice Arena for a free family skate event from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Attendees can enjoy skating, hot chocolate, cookies, holiday music and Santa. Mentor Civic Ice Arena is located at: 8600 Munson Rd, Mentor, OH 44060.
