Painesville Schools On Lockdown After Armed Bank Robbery
Police suggested placing Painesville City Local Schools and Our Shephard Lutheran School on lockdown as a precaution.

Painesville City Local Schools and Our Shephard Lutheran School were placed on lockdown Thursday morning following an armed robbery of the FirstMerit Bank on North Ridge Road around 9:30am reports newsnet5 Cleveland.
Painesville police found the suspect near Route 44 and Jackson Street but the suspect ran off again. The suspect was later apprehended and police notified the schools that they could cancel the lockdown. The matter is still under investigation, check newsnet5 Cleveland for more information.
