Route 306 Resurfacing Began Thursday Evening
Traffic delays are expected and the city recommends taking an alternate route.

Work on the Route 306 resurfacing project begins Thursday evening and traffic delays are expected.
The first phase of work includes grinding of the state route's pavement within city limits, according to an announcement on the city's Facebook page. Though two-way traffic will be maintained, the city recommends taking an alternate route, if possible.
The project will resurface Route 306 in Mentor, Willoughby and Kirtland and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.
Work hours are 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., Mondays through Fridays. Willoughby is the lead city on the project, which will be executed by Karvo Paving.
